Need some help please!! My calibration test print is messing with me!!

Trying to do a calibration test and this is what it's printing.
I have been having problems with lines in the prints.

I just replaced the cap tops (problem was there before I did this)
and dampers about 1 month ago

Every calibration test print is the same.
I can tell that the adjustments to the calibration is working because you can see the difference in the "print test"

Any idea on what to do?

thanks!

I think the calibration is for the media feed and scan. So when you put in a thick media it will feed at a different rate than that of a thin media. If you want the media to feed at the right rate then you calibrate. If you don't you might find one media prints a 2 foot long print bang on but another media might be out 1/8 of an inch.

You can get banding if your calibration is way out but most things I print I don't calibrate. If you calibrate with the takeup reel on you will get a different feed rate.

As for your test print, if you are getting at the black having a slight wave in the test print that would be more of a head cleaning to get rid of. A deflecting nossle might cause a bit of banding but not lines in a print.

Lines in a print may be a dirty encodor strip if its happening all over including white areas of a print where it can't be a hair or something.
