Need some inspiration: Electric Company Designs

Hey everyone, I have a new client who has a black crew cab truck he wants lettered. The colors, design and coverage is totally in the air and he has vans but they are arial bold and arial narrow fonts that include his business name and the world "electric". Yes, they have a lighting bolt on their vans also which he dreads. He wants to go with a classy look rather than the generic typical boring arial bold with a lighting bolt look.

Anyone have any inspiration they can post of other electric company designs and or truck lettering they have done?

Thanks!

This is a logo I did for a local electrical contractor.

They wanted to show they were somewhat "green". Thus the leaf inside the light bulb.

You could do red & blue, and do a ill dude holding both ends with a uniform on..

Something like this http://electrician-springtx.info/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/Electrician-Spring-TX_01.gif , but redone in a modern way, and heck instead of the old fashioned bulb you could put one of the tube circular ones.. Heck the electric cord could spell his name before it flows into the dude holding the ends.

Another idea is have the electric cords spell his name, and then into something..

Just my ideas.. Feel free to use, or not.

LOL we have an electrician client that uses that EXACT image as their "logo" I always assumed it was from some crappy clipart book from the early 90's, now I know.
