Need Tips to make a wood A frame

I always buy my frames and need to make a couple custom exterior wood A frames. The internet has terrible info. Anyone have any input as far as directions to tackle this project?

Can you elaborate on what you are trying to build? a quick pencil sketch would help.

when we make our own wooden A frames we use MDO plywood (also known as Crezon) and fasten them together with hinge handles like these

if you are looking for custom shapes and such, cut it using a jigsaw.
