My wife and I decided to strike out on our own and open our own shop. We have both been in the industry for close to 10 years. She in sales, me in install, production, and management.

We both worked for a franchise sign shop, and decided we were ready for more. So here I (we) am.

We opened our store last week, and are already doing pretty well. My wife is a fantastic salesperson, I'm learning.

Nice! I like the glass table with the logo on it, looks great! As much as I love my wife and we get along very well I would never dream of working together but it's great if you get it to work well. Good luck to you!

Thanks! She got the table and I sat looking at it and inspiration struck. It's just second surface RTA, but it gets comments from everyone. I set it up so when a customer is sitting at the table, they have to look at our logo the entire time, reinforcing our brand.

We've worked together every day for the past 4 years. We are a very good team, and figured out long ago how to make the distinction between work and home. What ever problems we had at home, stayed at home and vice-versa.

I hafta say, though.... I'm not particularly fond of your front window..... not at all. It's way too hard to read from the point of a bad choice of font and too cluttered.

I tend to agree with you. Sometimes, you just have to let your wife win, especially on such a minor thing. :banghead:

To be totally fair, though, it's much easier to read in person. Photobucket is screwing up my uploads. Makes them pixelated and just overall fuzzy.
