Hey, folks...I have been screening and doing signs since 1982. Most of that time has been spent working for other people and learning on their dime. I started working for myself in 2004 and have branched out into doing banners and signage. I have a Mimaki JV# that I got from my cousin and have had to teach myself this thing. I have read a few forums here about maintenance and have concluded that this thing needs an overhaul! I have NEVER been able to get a good print. Always has the haze around the red. Anyway, I hope that I can learn from the best. Mark

great place to learn about how to service your own JV3!
welcome from wisco!

haze around a single color usually means bad printhead. long nozzle wash (overnight) followed by a head wash has cleared it up for me in the past, however.
