not like I'd be wrapping a plane anytime soon, buuuuut I'd be interested to know as well.
random theory: maybe they cross-cut it, like security decals, so that if it peeled it would just flake-off in 1/8" pieces?

Install of this type of stuff would go to companies like Leading Edge Aviation... although I could see them contracting to bring in additional installers. They have all the equipment to climate control/wash/get into the right places/inspectors on staff... ...
