Newbie- How much do I charge??

Hey all--
I hope this is the correct place to post this question. I'm a newbie to vinyl cutting. Have solid business doing sandblasting and engraving (www.TheBlastingCabinet.com), have purchased a vinyl cutter to make stencils and to expand my business into making decals for my existing customer base.

I've got work. Not sure how to charge? Materials are easy enough to figure, but complexity of the design make it take a awhile to produce. Any tips on factoring prices. Pics attached.

Job #1-- The Green logos are basically 1 yard of 15" wide material, logos are 3" wide and 6" wide, 20 sheilds are 1.5" square - good calendered vinyl, tougher weeding.

Job #2-- The red stuff for a local fire dept is made of 3M 5100 reflective, easy weeding but more expensive material (making 80 of these - 1"x5").

Tips on how you might charge a customer for these two different jobs? Any input would be appreciated! Just starting - not looking to make tons of money, looking to produce a quality product for a few solid customers, but want to be fair.

Thanks!

Hard to tell you without knowing your overhead. What is you cost per hour of operations...

Get a signcraft price guide. I get $8 a foot for high performance cut vinyl, plus install.
$5 for stuff like oracal 651.

Reflective I get $12.50 for 5600 oralite or scotchcal

Cost of materials x 2 plus your hourly overhead for weeding and masking. Only you know what you need to make an hour to keep the lights on.

We have 2 clients that are regulars for decals. One client we charge per square foot.(race) For another we charge per square inch.(industrial) Like Mosh said it depends on overhead.
