Newbie sign question. Sign type

Good morning everyone, relatively new to the sign business and haven't dealt with all that's out there yet. I have a client that wants a quote on a sign like this one
That type is and how can I find a vendor. Finding the suppliers had been my biggest hurdle. Thank you for your help.

I agree with Pat. One of those would be your best bet mounted to a frame.

Hard to tell from the picture but looks like it's just a 3mm aluminum composite panel (such as Dibond, Epanel, Polymetal etc) mounted to a frame of some sort.

looks like 1" x 1" square tube with the 3mm screwed into it. you can buy the tube and the fittings from a sign supplier

To me it looks a lot thicker than a standard tube frame.
What do the other signs in the plaza look like?
It looks a little thin too be electric but it almost looks like a ACM face screwed over an electric can

this is what I am thinking also.

as far as the thinness goes, it could very easily be an LED cabinet

Thanks everyone, it's the only one in the plaza like that. The others are box letters. There is one other lit box sign a few doors down, but it is much deeper and clearly lit. It does look like an aluminum front mounted on a frame, but wasn't sure if anyone knew what kind of frame or where to get it.

you probably have to do further investigation. It could be anywhere from 2x4 wood to aluminum angle mitered and connected to the wall with clips

if it is a non-illluminated face tacked on an old sign cabinet, you find a vendor for that. as for a frame for a face, you can make one from extrustion. does it have to be as thick as that one or are you just looking to make something like that?

I would guess its a 4" tall frame and it appears they may have wrap the edges with an aluminum composite as well, materials are only a guess, could be 2x4 wooden frame or aluminum channel or tubing...regardless its a simple construction if you have any tools at all. But I would guess with the hardware shown its a wood 2x4 frame ...normally someone using aluminum frame would have a nicer finished sign.

Just looking for something similar to this, if I can stay away from a illuminated sign it would make my job much easier.

Lots of ways to make it. I'd probably do a 1"x1" aluminum tube box built to whatever that depth is and skin it with .040 or .063

Could be wrong ...but, looking at the bottom left corner (zoomed right in) I would say that's a wood face, called signboard by weathertex, not sure what you guys call it. Just as much way as saying dibond. Maybe it's my old eyes, but I can see a slight dip in the corner and another edge along the bottom about 10mm thick, never said I was right, just said it LOOKS to me as if it's signboard.

ACM is very widely used here in the USA. weathertex? not so much. chances are....
