Has anybody use the Nikkalite Super Engineer Grade Reflective? Any reviews or tips? A client is spec'ing it for a project, but I've never heard of it.

never used it, but its an 8mil retro-reflective

probably can't be solvent printed (transparent overlay or transparent screenprint)
probably tough to cut

We have used tons of another of their material and love it. No idea on their SEG though - that is specified for highway signs and whatnot and is intended for screen printing.

Sometimes when a client specs a material they really don't know anything about it, or if it's even necessary for the application.

Not my go to material but Ive used it on a few jobs. Haven't had any issues of it failing and it printed ok. Not sure of the part number but would have been the higher end one...

Strange thing is it tends to tear easy when weeding if your just contour cutting it for reflective lettering (non laminated) compared to other reflective films.

I usually use Oracal 5650 r/a reflective for printing because its manufactured to be printed on, it's cleaner, stronger and has air egress.

Nikkalite is re-named by suppliers a lot as house brand from what I understand...
