i just fixed a couple of errors on my mutoh by cleaning the media sensors. now that works fine. but now my magenta and black are not printing. i wasent able to print anything because my mutoh wouldn't turn on . but i fixed this today. and now the black and magenta wont print. what could this mean? are my heads dried? only the yellow and blue will print. is there a way to unplug them by soaking them in cleaning solution? pllleaasss hhellpppp....

for the media sensor, on my mutoh falcon outdoor ll i took of the top cover and there is a clear strip of plastic that the print head carriage follows.you will see it when you take off the top cover. there is a sensor behind the carriage. i cleaned it with a microfiber lent free cloth and rubbing alcohol. then then it worked perfect.then my machine was not turining on after i took of the black heater trip on the middle of the printer were the pinch rollers sit to hold down the media. to clean some lint. then put it back together and then the machine would not turn on. today i opened the black heater strip, and found out when i screwed it down there was one of the heater wires pinched under a screw. i loosened it and the machine turned on. now my black and magenta wont print any ink. because i dident print anything for 2-3 days blue and yellow still print. any tricks on how to get the 2 heads printing again. i heard soaking the heads in cleaning solution will unclog the heads. i never done this before. will this work. any ideas are appreciated. hhheeelllppppp...................................................:frustrated:

yeah, shoot some cleaning solution here the solution might seep through the pump. you can also clamp the pump tube off, or disconnect a union if you want to keep the caps very very full. also, try to preclean your pump by syringing some solution through it so it doesn't get dried out.

ok i ran a couple of prints and at first, only the yellow and blue were working, now the magenta is fully working. the black is really light.i dont think the heads are clogged because at first the magenta wasent working and now it is after a few prints. and now the black is real light when doing a cleaning i see ink going through the magenta yellow and blue lines down to the wast tank, but no black. what does this sound like to you guys.any thoughts! thanks guys.:U Rock:

yeah during the down time the pump or lines to the pump gummed up. each pump can be set up different. but basically get a syringe hook it to the line coming from the cap. and jet solution into the pump. one of the main places to get a clog is also right below the cap at the top of the tube. if you can't get fluid to force through, manually rotate the pump gear a half turn or so. it might be rotated in such a way that it is in a very fully closed position. if worse comes to worse, take the pump off and take it apart, to clean it. they are very simple to work on.
