One JV3 Printhead Has Stopped Printing Completely

Everything was fine on Friday but today, one printhead will not fire at all. The test draw is completely blank for that head. Being that it's not printing anything, I doubt it's a clogged head but we've tried nozzle washes just to be safe.

Any ideas of things to try to resurrect it? I'm down until I get this figured out.

double check that the head is even getting ink to it.... air in the inklines will immediately starve the head of ink and fillupink/headwashes alone won't get it out.

also, a bad capping station will also kill your head refresh when its not making a proper seal. a good way to test this is to draw through the drainage lines (SLOWLY) with a large syringe ($1 @ walgreens) and listen for a "hissing" noise and/or lack of ink pulling through

Thanks, Mike. We just checked that and it doesn't seem to be the issue. Any other ideas?

Got it working. Even though we haven't messed with the ribbons going to the head, we reseated them(pull them out and stuck them back in) and that fixed the problem.

Good to hear. With complete color dropout I always think of electrical issues
