Panama City Beach Restaurants

We are heading down to Panama City Beach for Thanksgiving. Anyone from that area have any good seafood restaurant recommendations? I am so ready to go!!!

Avoid Captain Andersons. It used to be incredible and had a worldwide reputation and it's the recommendation that most people give because that's what they've always heard. It's almost the default answer. It fails to live up to the hype these days.

Saltwater Grill is AWESOME but it's pricey.

If you've never been you should go to Boar's Head. Excellent food, nice place. If you go early (before 7:00?) there's an early bird menu.

You can pretty much follow the crowds, though. If there's a line at the restaurant it's there for a reason (except Andersons)

Here is some advice that has allowed me to find some of the best food everywhere I have gone in this country.

Find the largest heaviest cop or deputy you can around 6pm. Then ask him where the best place to eat is. I have never been steered wrong yet.

I found this great barbeque place just off of I-10 by doing just that. From the outside you wouldn't wanna get out of the car let alone eat there, but let me tell you to this day I have never had a better pulled pork.
