paper feed motor?

i think my paper feed motor might be going bad on my mutoh falcon outdoor ll also known as rock hopper. when i load the media the carriage tries to go to the left over the the media to define the size and then the moter makes a loud buzzing noise. but then it stops, and the mutoh gives me a error message. (pf over currant) i called mutoh and they looked up the code and said it is either the paper feed motor going bad or the main board bad. hopefully not the main board. so i loosened up the long metal round paper feed bar that the media sits on and pulls the media up or down so only half of it moves and then i tried to power up the mutoh and the motor turns the half of the paper feed roller just fine with no noise. and the carriage reads every thing fine. but the motor will not turn the whole paper feed bar roller. it seems like the motor is week. does this sound like the motor or the mother board? im thinking if the mother board was bad the motor would not turn at all! it one or the other. what do you guys think it might be? thanks

It sounds like the motor is going bad. I have plenty of used parts for the falcon II and the falcon jr. if you need one just PM me .
