Let me start off by saying this is my first post in this forum. Hello everyone!
So, we just wrapped a 2010 F-150 crewcab. The rear windows have perforated vinyl on them to enhance the design, and let you see out blah blah blah. We've used this vinyl on windows plenty, but I think this is the first time we've done this on windows that retract. Every other vehicle window we've mounted the perf vinyl to, has been stationary, meaning they don't go up and down. So when the windows go up and down, they are pulling on the vinyl and I think if this keeps up, potentially ripping the vinyl.
So, my question is, what tricks do you use with perforated vinyl on windows?
I've thought about using a thin stip of clear vinyl to cover the edge, but wanted to hear some opinions.
What does everyone think?
