Photoshop World

Great Investment!

I’ll be there!

Canceled my “Spring” PS World East trip to Orlando (and ISA show) earlier this year, so I immediately penciled “Fall/West” on the calendar. Coming to town the weekend before (small vacation) and then bringing the red eye back east after Saturday‘s events.

:clapping: I’ve attend quite a few PS World’s now and have yet to experience a bad one. Forever learning something during not only class time but during networking time periods as well. After three and half days (counting pre-con class/workshop) of intense PS and related topics, I’m ready for a mental break. Well worth the investment; always a great ROI!

Been to the last 3 of them and will be going to this one. Never know who you will meet there that can really get you good deals on stuff. Thats the only reason I got my Cintiq 21ux because I met a Wacom rep there, chatted for a bit, told them I have had their products since I began...told me to call them after the show and he helped out greatly with a huge customer appreciation discount. Good people at that show.

This will be my first PS World. I was just wondering who I may see there. A friend of mine is a PSW veteran and convinced me to join him this year.

Well we have been here a couple days. Photoshop World has been a wealth of information. Among the announcements have been that CS4 will be official as of 9/23/08, but probably won't ship for another 4 weeks after that.

I was able to compare notes with an Adobe Photoshop engineer. He confirmed that the 64 Bit version of Photoshop CS4 will use as much RAM as you can throw at it. He demonstrated his personal system using 32 GB of RAM (Photoshop was able to use 29GB of RAM).
