Pinch roll error

I setup as usual but now setup error occurs, I have cleaned encoder strip, etc. seems like only works when in certain areas like 13.1" and 28.2"??

Sounds like you've gotta move the left roller over a bit.

ooops, could be the right one too. Just make sure the rollers are sitting right on top of the grit roller and not off to the side a bit.

I am a roland tech in the chicago area and your problem is flex cable and plastic guides...there easy to replace but make sure power is unplugged before doing it...the encoder has nothing to do with pinch roller reading that only has to do with where the print is placed on the material. If you have questions pm me and i will reply right back. I have done many flex cables so i can do them in about 20 minutes but even a first timer it will be easy and should take less than 1 hour to do.
