A few months ago my computer crashed i was using it for a 14.0 win pc signmax program. I still had the software tried installing it in my Toshiba labtop and couldnt find the right ports to get it to work. Then i tried installing it on other computers but i cant get it to work. What should i do order the 2009 signmax people say its pretty much the only solution and i have a lynx cutter catching dust they are saying it will work on that cutter to what do you think.

Perhaps finding a new line of work might be a first step in the right direction.

After trying to read your disjointed and grammatically challenged FIRST post on Signs 101, I realized that you had stated "A few months ago my computer crashed". That being said it has NOW become a crisis for you to figure out how to fix your Chinese plotter, and reinstall your after market plotter drive program? You have been without a cutter driver and plotter for several months?

And you come here looking for someone to hold your hand, with out even a "High, my name is ______{fill in the blank}, I hope you can help me find some answers to a problem I am experiencing.

OH, BTW from what I can observe from the web sites I found referencing the program you {wrongly} identified, {the correct name is} WinPCSign Pro 14, is one of MANY programs that have been hacked, cracked and broken down by most of the program PIRATES on the Internet.

If you have such a program you will NOT get a vary helpful reception here, as most of the folks here frown on PIRATED software.

If yours is a legal program
, then going back to the dealer that sold the plotter to you might help remedy your situation.
And if they suggest paying the current $289 price for a new version, then there is your answer.
Anyway, Welcome to Signs101:peace!:

Ummmm I started making signs with a Chinese Plotter...

And a POS program called "Easy Sign" that I cut from...

So IMHO... There's really no need for the tirade Vinylman...

But to the OP - if the dealer says you need to upgrade the program - $300 is cheap to get cutting again.

And if by chance you DID hack the program... well... what Vinylman said
