You need a tech.
SYSTEM HALT (*)
1e4 : PCB STA4-1
No Station IV PCB 1. Disconnect and connect the FFC located between
the EPL3 main PCB(CN104/CN105) and the
Station IV PCB(CN1). (Refer to 2.3.1)
2. Replace the Station IV PCB with a new one.
(Refer to 6.4.2)
3. Replace the above FFC.
4. Replace the EPL3 MAIN PCB with a new one.

You might have had a power surge, check the Station board, it might have been damaged, check your local Mimaki dealer for a new board

I am having a similar issues with "Station IV PCB". None of the led's on the board are on. Wondering if you have any experience trying to figure out what the issue may be with the board, and how to go about figuring out / and / or confirming if the board itself is defiantly bad. Trying to avoid buying boards and then fid out it was something else, or something that will cause the new board to also be damaged. Thank you

How old is it? I had to replace FFC cables in UJF-3042 from 2010 to get power enabled to slider board (Mimaki checks for good connection before sending power), it could be a similar issue. The cables themselves tested end-to-end ok (metered), but I think the exposed connector ends just got too compressed/worn out to make a reliable enough connection in the sockets.

FFC cable is cheap - I'd look there first.

That is a very good suggestion. My machine is 2018 ucjv300. I did a similar check end-to-end with meter. How did you narrow down which FCC cable was the issue? Did you end up replacing boards only to find out still not getting power?
- Did you try any techniques that tipped you off which FCC was bad.
I see the main PCB has a led or two lit up even with the power off (plugged in, but not fully on). Do you know if any other boards are supposed to have a similar led on before the power is turned on at the control panel.

- I am a newbie to Mimaki so sorry for any silly questions
- When you say it checks for good connections: is it checking all the way down the chain of components? For example : I have no power at my Station IV PCB, as well as CT PCB, and LED Drive PCB. Can I isolate and test cables just for Station IV PCB, and leave cables to other boards disconnected until I get some LED's on station IV pcb. Or will leaving the dependent connections downstream prevent even the host board from getting powered up. ( I believe CT PCB depends on power from Station IV, so I am calling CT PCB "downstream" and Station IV its "host"). Sorry for the made up terms. Hope it makes sense. I was basically thinking if there is way to isolate and focus on one board getting power, then move on to the next.
Thank you!

Man who touches printers inappropriately.
If you keep things on one thread instead of reviving and creating new ones it makes issue tracking much easier. That said, I'm done for now.

I apologize if this is not the correct approach. I reached out with this question here because this user had similar symptoms, but not the same error as mine. They also noted no led's on their Station IV PCB as well so I was interested in thier experience. I am not sure how I would ask them about their experience without asking on this post instead of my original post? Please let me know if there is a better way to ask such a question while keeping things on one thread ( is thread same as post?)
I meant no disrespect to the proper process of this forum, and open to guidance on best ways to do that. Thank you all for being so helpful.
