Pole Pocket Using Hem Tape.

First time making pole banner. Will hem tape work or does it need to be sewn? 13 oz banner material.

It needs to sewn for sure....even if it is and inside banner I would still sew it.

We have two banners that hang outside of our warehouse that are about 3' x 6'. We had one sewn and one we hemmed with hem tape. They both lasted until we decided to replace them which was about 5 years. The taped banner did not show any signs of failing.

We do pole pockets with either 3M 5952 or 4910 VHB tape and then reinforce each end of the pockets with a grommet. VHB tape won't let you down.
