Hi,

do you guys have any tricks and tips for positionig various roll sizes, like marking where to position them or something like that?

As long as the rollers are on the grit area as designated by the marks, you should be fine.

Why complicate things.
I can't tell you the last time these have been moved at all, except the last one down one more spot on the rare occasion I run 60" material. Set em' up right and all you have to do is just activate 6 rollers for 48" or 5 rollers for 36" instead of 7 when you do the material setup, that's what that option is for. There's really no reason to move them all the time. The only exception may be when running an odd size of certain banner materials that like to bunch up.

If things start walking, tends to be tension more than rollers. Most shops tend to use standard widths as well, so you don't move them that often. Set rollers so most or all are within marks for your most commonly used media and move as needed in special cases.
