Poster paper

Hi guys,

What poste paper material do you recommend running on the HP 360? Currently we use Sihl TriSolv 3689 on a Roland XR-640 but find it's hard sometimes to avoid spotting particularly with heavy saturation of dark inks, as if it they look grainy.

Hmmm... we use Sihl TriSolv 3686 which is probably the same thing just the glossy version. Haven't had any issues on our HP 360. What profile do you use?

We currently use poster paper setting on Versa Works. We don't have the HP yet should be arriving in the next couple of weeks but trying do to my homework ahead of time;-)

You should not be getting spotting. I use a wide variety of Sihl films on my XR-640 with stunning results. Albeit, I have custom profiles to make sure this is so. Otherwise, I like Roland's paparazzi matte finish or Fibermark Endura for paper
