Preventing the wrinkles from powertape?

Anyone know how to prevent those wrinkles along the power taped edges when rolled up?

Could drop the tape and switch to HH66 glue.
Once you get the hang of it the glued edges stay much flatter than taped ones.
Will cost less too.

Just received a new roll of power tape and it had "new and improved" on it. No wrinkles with this new improved product. I was using the old glossy power tape before and this stuff works ALOT better.

Do you fold the edges, or is just a reinforcement tape?

power tape is single sided re-enforcement tape. I have no issues now that i used the new and improved product.
