Pringing packing tape on mutoh 1324.

I need to be able to print some 2.5 wide packing tape on the mutoh 1324. It can be printed on vinyl but need to figure out how to make it mat and not gloss. I am thinking about doing 10 ft print 50 inches wide then cutting it down into 2.5 inch strips manually after laminating with mat laminate.

I can then take the 10 ft sections that are now 15t by 2.5" and tape the ends together. This is the only way i know to do this.

This is not something that is reoccurring but more of a custom thing for one client.

He is even ok with them being 10 ft rolls but i would like to make it a little easier on them when using it.

Any ideas. They only need about 150 ft or so at a time.

I think the real problem with this solution is that vinyl has a backer. This means the client won't be able to use a tape gun. To me that is a deal breaker. Google, "custom packing tape" There are a lot of places doing it and I bet you can get wholesale pricing.

This is and will only be used in specific situation and not real often. They are fine with the backing tape and they stated they have no real need to use it on a tape gun.


The logo is 2 colors with a full black background that covers the whole tape area. This is the reason i was looking at just using simple white vinyl.
