Print Head and maint Station question

I replaced the cursor carriage and when I tried to pull ink through the heads
I noticed the print heads are not sealing against the maint station.

I tried removing the carriage and double checked my work. I also replaced the maint station this morning on the advice of a service tech. Same issue.

I would really appreciate any help on this matter.

Make sure you put the head in low head height.

According to my tech, when you installed the maintance station, you should have lifted a bit on the station and before tightening up the screws.

There is a little up and down play here.


It can be a little tricky to insure that the heads are seated propertly in the carriage.

You may have to pull the covers and the Control Panel, take a flashlight and actually look at the heads and make sure that they are flat in the carriage.
