Print head height

My printer only shows the head in high height.
Even when it’s in low.
When I go to power it if it says change head height to low. So only way to power down is unplug.
Anyone ever had this happen and figured out a quick fix?

There's an interrupt near the lever under the head carriage cover. A little flag has to interrupt it to tell the machine it's in low mode. Most likely the sensor is bad or the flag or sensor got knocked out of place.
