print... magically fixes it self? help please!

I was running a 4' x 8' run, didnt check on it (oops!) towards the end I walked over to my printer (mimaki JV3-130 SP II) it has about 6 inches left and I notice really bad banding, almost white streaking. I hit remote to stop the print to look closer, and say screw it let it finish the print. It starts up and prints perfectly fine.... I just changed a new cartridge of ink in before this print could this have caused this? should I be worried?

Looks like ink starvation to me. When you entered REMOTE mode, the printer likely primed itself which is why the banding lessened upon restarting.

That's what I was thinking afterwards because I did run the Magenta cartridge down below zero (if thats possible lol!) and then put in the new cartridge, didn't think to run a test print to make sure the lines were full again... oops :(
