I have a l25500 and am needing a job done on silver vinyl. What kind of print profile and advice do you have for printing on like Avery 700 series or oracal 651 or simular vinyls? I know it's not recommended but my supplier told me it can be done just doesn't know the set up for it. Any help is much appreciated

Since you can't profile Silver Vinyl, unlike white vinyl where you can profile, print and have accurate output you best bet is to use a vinyl profile you already have, make a copy of it and tweak as necessary with a little bit of trial and error. When I have printed cutting vinyl it seems to handle the heat settings just the same a regular print vinyl substrate. I have mostly just printed black on colored vinyl where you would set the RIP to use inkjet black and not color manage the black just like you do to get the best blacks on printing vinyl.

How many passes do you use?
