Printed wraps obsolete within the next 5 to 10 years?

I remember reading a few years back about the guy that invented that type of technology to make an invisible cloak.

Kinda sounds like a waste of money to use on a tank though to me, still heat signatures and of course audible signatures that will expose it, let alone what will happen to the electronics after a cannon is fired.

i wonder if they'll incorporate the new dust/dirt repelling technology as well.

my monitor doesn't project so good when I drive it through the mud and sand.

I guess that's why it's important to go to VEGAS!!! for an occasional ISA Show so we can stay ahead of the curve!
Not only can we party in Vegas, but hopefully see some faint glimpses into the future.
I was talking with a seasoned veteran sign-guy the other day. This guy started-out in the 70's PAINTING signs, and then the computer arrived!
I think that there will always be a need for printed signage, but as technology increases, it's going to go toward digital and HD signage. I was in Vegas last month, and I noticed a lot of HD displays throughout the casinos. So I think it's safe to say that HD screens are going to quickly replace "old-fashioned" sandwich boards in many instances. And it's also easy to say that HD screens will soon start replacing light-boxes and lighted signs. So let's try to stay a few steps ahead of the curve! It's going to go more towards marketing in general. Displaying the right and best changing messages that gets your client the most walk-ins and leads/sales!
