Printing black and white drawings..

John L

Several times each month, I have to print out black and white 24" x 36" architectural drawings on regular 20lb bond paper. I have thus far been using an older HP Designjet 24" printer but it just stopped working and i really doubt it's worth fixing.

I also have a Falcon Outdoor Jr. which I have never used for this before. Is it possible? Advisable? Stupid? Would this be a waste of the expensive Mutoh black ink? Would this be a waste of print head life?

Thanks

The Jr. has a black only mode

2. Pressing QUALITY/SPEED will change the output quality and speed. Each time
the key is pressed you will notice the LED indicator showing the current status:
High Quality, Normal and High Speed (Economy). The set-up can only be changed
in idle status. As soon as data is coming in and/or is being processed, pressing the
key will not have any effect. When all 3 lights are on the printer prints BLACK only.

You will need Eco ink compatible media to print on.
