Printing detailed images..

having trouble printing people without them getting very pixelated. Doesn't matter what res I build the file in, they always seem to get very "fuzzy".. anyone have any advice? thank you!

try printing on a matte material rather than a gloss

Ok thank you, I will try that. I'm just printing Tiff image at a res of 300.. my son pitching.. on his face it gets very pixelly.

I'm printing with a versacamm vp300 on calendared orajet gloss white vinyl

how big is the image, that is not a photo quality printer...

right now printing 11x17,, but have done bigger and smaller with no grain at all.. same settings

What was the resolution of the original photo?

I'm going to go ahead with the original photo not being good enough. This is why "personalized fatheads" never took off, because the quality of the original photo is not good enough.
