Printing matte black

For all that have printed black on wrap vinyl and laminated it with matte lam to acheive matte black, how cost effective was that say vs. buying a black film and lam with matte or buying something like the Oracal 970ra that is matte black already laminated? Which would be the most cost effective way to do it and if you printed just black how much ink did you go through to do a vehicle. I have a customer that wants an SS trailblazer done in a full matte black wrap.

Just get the black vinyl, much cheaper and easier.

any suggestions on a black vinyl, I know 3m has good wrap vinyl but customers tend to balk at the price.
