Hello!

i was just wondering, if you guy also have this kind problem...

When i print prints with dark, black edges, and when i cut it out, the edge lift up for 1 or 2mm. and when i install it on forex or whereever, it doesn stick well. and if it does, it will lift up again in few hours. I know that i can get liquid glue for edges, but i dont want to do it, becouse it takes time...

So, why does that even happen?? To much colour or what?
How do you solve these problems?

I've had this happen when I used "cheap" vinyl and heavy ink application. It only happened in a few spots, but it was a nightmare. What I chalked it up to was the ink was either building up on the edge (a little adhesive showing) and then soaked into the adhesive. It was a poly type material, so I don't think the ink soaked through the substrate into the adhesive. What I noticed is that some cheaper materials often have chunks of adhesive on the sides. Its almost as if the adhesive was squeezed out from the side.

Sounds like too heavy of ink and cutting too soon after printing can do that also. are you laminating the prints? That will help with that sometimes.

hm... ok, i will try to dry them longer...

i know, if i laminate it with laminate vinyl, everything is ok... but if i use liquid lamination, it is only a little bit better... not much.

But i still suspect too heavy ink... becouse vinyl is almost like a chewing-gum on places where it is very dark place...

so, u don't have this problem in generally?
