problem with mutoh 1618

i have this problem in mutoh valuejet 1618 dual head i am getting "y ink end"
i tried to replace the ink card still the same problem, and when i check the yellow ink line i found that there is no ink on the line FROM CARTRIDGE going to SUBTANK.. can you please help me on this problem.. is the valve may be the caused?the 2-way valve located on the bottom of each cartridge?

I had something similair on my VJ 1604.
What I did is take the back panel of and you can see the valves.
I unscrewed the nut and pulled it out then syringed it back through.
Then do a subtank fill (as it was empty)
The valve must have got blocked/stuck.
This has happened once more but I just repeated and it has been OK ever since.
I guess the valve may need replacing but it is relatively easy to do until this gets a serious problem.
