Projection/Wall mount signs

We have a customer that wants some of their sign's displayed via wall projection. As an example, 5" tall by 48" long -- 5" against the wall, 48" coming "out of the wall" into the hallway.

For items this size, what solutions have you used or would you recommend?

Yea... that's issue right now. Don't have easy access to all the areas above the sign placements, etc.

Could have a wall anchor at a higher spot supporting the end of the sign

Depending on the wall material and finish, I'd see if they'd be ok with literally going through the wall and anchoring it to a wall stud. If it's painted drywall, it really wouldn't be a big deal to anchor the sign and then patch and paint the drywall.

you could try U-brackets but it is asking a lot of them for that size. you could try .25" alumalite and put a bracket on the bottom and on the top. you may have to make a brackets system as at 48" most light weight substrates are too wobbley and substrates that aren't are heavy

Yup... was a consideration, thanks for that. Thought about using a line between the end of the sign and the wall up above as an option if I did a heavier substrate

Was hoping you guys would have some links/recommendations on products to use in this regard etc that I might not know about

this one might work as it holds a 36" and might be enough to do a 48". look around on Hooks & Lattice as they might have what you need
