Question About Installing 3571 Air Release + 290

Can I use Rapid Tac or water solution to apply 3571 AR ?

I am installing 4.5' x 12' panels on the side of a curved truck. I have done a
number of these and the adhesive sticks way too aggressively. There is also a staggering
of the truck panels, creating another angle which contributes to the difficulty.

So can I use wet application?

Yes you can. Not really recommended but not prohibited also. The downside in doing a wrap on wet is that you have to wait for very long time for it to dry, if you have curves/insets on the surface. I personally would not do it wet, but again, its not prohibited.

Thank you. With the welded seams every 3'-4' it sounds like wet would not work very well.

I thought the air release would release the moisture as well...

How long is the dry time? Could I apply wet and come back the next day and work the hard spots?

It dries slower compare to non AR vinyl, since you can't really push all water out, some of it will stay in these air release channels. But it should dry over night, squeegee as good as you can to make sure you push as much water out as you can.
