question about manual contour cutting

I have an Older cutter (Newstar OM-60) it uses the same blade/pen holder as most Mimaki's
My question is this... I use FlexiSign and to do contour cutting I must do the manual alignment method.
for this I have to remove the blade holder and install the pen holder... I then start moving the carriage via the arrow controls through flexi. Once Close I have to manually push the pen down to make contact, then let go and move, check again etc until I have it positioned perfectley at the first mark. Then I proceed to the next and the next etc.

I'm ok with changing out the blade for the Pen... but it's very time consuming to move, stop and manually depress the pen to check... does anyone know if there is a type of holder that has a laser pointer in it... or has anyone modified a pen holder with some sort of laser pointer for this purpose?

Whilst in a pound shop sorry don't know what you call them
Saw a packet of three cigarette lighters for £1 with miniature lights cheap touch
.
I removed the led and battery with switch as it was all in one and mounted in to a old graptec pen I drilled a small hole in the cap. Works a treat
I needed it cos the arms won't work on printed chrome
