Question on Take Up Reel on L360

For those of you with a L360, with your take up, if the sensor bar hits the top, does your media unwind? I was told that it should, but haven't seen anywhere where it says it does. I sure hope that it is supposed to because if I have the TUR setup and enabled, when the printer finishes the drying process and sucks the media back it, it causes it to jam as there isn't enough slack on the TUR. I have been working with HP, but haven't resolved anything yet. So I figured I would throw it out to those of you here that have one.

It doesn't hit the top - before the bar gets there it triggers the take up to turn to give it some slack.

Assuming you have it turned on and have set it up correctly then you should never be able to make the bar raise high enough to hit the top.

Either one of the ends of one of the bars has popped out of the pivot point where it meets the leg, or there is a technical issue with the sensor.

In normal use the bar should have a trigger point to turn the take up roll before the bar raises (or lowers) too far.

HP had me try setting it up just like the training video they sent me. I have it all setup, then tell the printer to enable the TUR. It will actually pull the media up against the bar during the calibration it does when you hit enable. All of the bars seem to be in place on the TUR.

I pulled the end off that the take up bar is connected to, the one with the switch. On the inside I could see that the switch is broke. So I found my problem.
