Anyone use the reel pro with their edge to have unattended printing?

Besides, I thought the ReelPro was for the larger inkjet machines, although, I guess you could modify it to work with the Gerber

I wouldn't pay that much for the reminders. That is why I was looking for alternatives. I do runs that are 15 to 40 yards long and currently roll the job manually to mount the job on my laminator spindle. So for my work flow it would help but not at no 2500 each.

How much are you printing that you really need "unattended". We routinely do LONG Edge runs and even a 50yd run should only take a little bit. It's not like putting a 50yd roll on a wide format printer and letting it run overnight.

I would recommend making a couple of nice catch baskets for either side of the Edge and using those. Just keep them dusted out and you will be fine.

We have our Edge on the edge of a table and let the vinyl just roll out onto the floor, we do wind it up if we feel like it.
