How can I reset the ink counter on the vj1204 printer?

I mean if I put in a new carriage will it read 100%? Saw you can reset the counter so it will read 100%.

Printer read ink volume automatically from smartcard on cartridge. No need to do anything if all OK with sensors in printer. Just put new cartridge and continue printing.
But it possible to switch printer in special mode for working without smartcard. This case any cartrige (even empty) will be recognized as 100% volume.

If you are running bulk inks try this:-
Install new cards.
Set a print off.
Remove cards whilst it is printing and install some old ones (I don't think you have to but I do).
The ink will show as depleting but is not writing to your card.
When it has run down to 20% switch machine off and repeat.
You cannot reset the counter on the original firmware.
I believe their is someone offering firmware to bypass this.
