Resist Mineral Oil

We have a customer that wants us to print a polycarbonate face for a compass. The inks must be resistant to mineral oil or the vinyl and inks must be resistant to mineral oil. Anyone have any ideas what will work? We have Gerber Edge, a Roland Eco Solvent, a Mimaki UV roll to roll, and a FluidColor UV Flatbed.

You probably need a chemically resistant laminate. Dry erase laminates are pretty good at this but not good for outdoors. If I had to do this I would probably use a tough floor laminate and aggressive adhesive vinyl (if the oil gets near the vinyl edges it'll probably affect the adhesive, probably need to seal the edges).

Something like this would have no trouble with mineral oil I think:

As long as you seal the edges, if these decals are going to fail it is because the oil got under it and ruined the adhesive
