Rockhopper 2 "not original inks"

Hi,I had a few probs with my motherboard (blown component)and replaced with a secondhand one from a spare working machine. Now all iam getting is a message "not orginal ink message.They are the same inks iam using. Every one I insert gives the same message. Ive cleaned chips and tried installing again with no joy.Its running on version 3 firmware.Many thanks kev

Sometimes on ours we have that issue, It could be only one of the cartridges causing problem, but no matter which one we pulled it would still show not original ink, in order to figure out which one was causing problem we realized that if you can get into ink remaining menu the cartridge causing problem would not show amount of ink remaining, it would be blank,


Once we had problem with sensor on one cartridge slot where you put the ink cartridge, Sensor is located at back of slot where ink cartridge fits,


our rockhopper was a fix and repair daily machine, seemed liked something was always wrong,
