Hi,
any opinions on new Roland AJ-740? I know it's a solvent machine and they advertise it prints high quality brilliant images at 360x360. It's a little confusing to me how is 360x360 counts as high quality. Also I see it is probably very similar to Mimaki JV5 but Roland at $56,000 is $16k higher... Is there a reason for such a big price difference besides the name?
Also is it really a good idea to buy $56k printer that uses inks at $200 per liter, while other high-production less known printers cost less and probably uses inks that are at $200 per gallon?
I know it's a lot of questions, hopefully someone will have time to enlighten me
