Roland Cammjet Cj-500

I have a great old Roland CAMMJET CJ-500. I recently moved and when I've set the machine back up I can't print. I'm running it with an old Mac G4, OS 9, with Colorchoice software. I’m going from the ethernet port on the Mac into the serial port on the Roland via a D-Link 301 print server plugged in. I keep getting Open Port error. It rips fine, then “waiting for device” and then “Open Port Error”. I’m going through the tcp/ip and putting in the 192.168.0.13 that shows up in my IP scanner software. Any ideas???? Help. I just took on a good sized job. Thanks for your time and interest.

1- unintsall the rip software and restart your computer,
2- install the rip software again and restart your computer,
