Roland DG problem with microsoft edge webview2

Ive purchased a roland machine and am trying to download versa works 6. ive download the download centre called roland DG which wont install as it says i dont have microsoft edge webview 2 however when i install this webview 2 it says that i already have it installed.

This seems to be an issue with webview but im strtuggling to find a sollution , has anybody had this issue?

Yesterday I applied the Roland DG connect hub suggested upgrade and it installed Webview 2. I would recommend that you uninstall your manually installed Webview 2 and let Roland’s software install it for you. There might be different sub versions and that could be why it says it is not installed (I.e. might be looking for a different sub version number).
