hi, i have a roland pnc-960 that i cant get to cut with flexi 8.1. i have a bridge 720 hooked up and that works fine. on the roland i get a "cannot open port. ive tried everything..dip switches, ports, everything matches, but still no cut. im using a usb to serial because im running windows on my mac and only have usb ports.. that shows up in device manager/hardware too. any ideas?

I've not had success with serial leads- you need a special Roland one, or do a search here- I posted the pin-out diagram some years ago- it's not a straight-through serial lead, but has some crossovers.
