Hey guys i apologise if i have posted in the wrong section but am new to the site. I would really appreciate anyones help with my situation. Ive just bought a second hand rs-640 and viewed it printing an image an looked really good quality. The problem that im having is that i can not get my prints to the same quality. Ive done test prints with not head deflection. Ive calibrated the machine. The profile for the media im using is correct. the heat is seat to 45 degress which i have adjusted to no difference in my print. Ive done nearly everything i can think of. To begin with i was adjusting all of this and the print head was set to high so then changed to low which made a difference but still i am printing images that look grainy even with a full vectored image, the solid colours just dont look as they should? The printers ink settings are correct also in versaworks, ive printed in bi direction and uni direction. Its driving me insane because im not sure what else it could be? Any help would be gladly appreciated. Please help me!
