Roland SP-540V Dampers?

Anyone have a Roland SP-540V and changed out the Dampers?


I'm looking into them and notice there are two different ones, a shallow one and a deeper version good for printing large solids.


Anyone have any thoughts or advice on which one to use?

We run the larger unit which has a bigger screen too. Here's where we get them: http://solventinkonline.com/ $24.00 for 8. That's not a typo. Been using them for a few years in our SP540V with zero issues

I was looking at the dampers on my SP-540v, it doesn't look like there is clearance for a taller(Large) damper.

Your printer was designed to use the small ones. If you are having drop out issues it's not because the damper is too small.
