See if you guys can help me troubleshoot this? I lately been getting 0.0 or and error when my media is getting measured? I assumed it was the long data cable to the carriage board (ive replaced before). I changed it and it started reading my media again. So I thought I had the problem solved. My issue was that my prints were not centered in the media...the are drastically closer to one side than the other even when I have it centered in versaworks.. Crop marks are really close to the edge on one side and and inch away on the other when print and cutting. its suppose to be same on both sides....Then it started smearing the crop marks and my prints started smearing? Is this an encoder strip issue? whats going on?

prints are shifting from the encoder strip. cleaning it is usually enough to solve the issue. the cutter doesn't use the encoder strip, so the cuts are likely where they should be, but the print is way off.
