Roland XF-640 8 color mode?

Yo!
I have a XF-640 and I'm wondering if the following is possible (I think not, but maybe there's a custom driver out there) - Can I setup the XF to run in 8 color mode like the RF-640? IE: CMYK Lc Lm Orange Green
There's nothing specifically mentioned in any of the manuals, but on Roland's support page for the model they have PDFs on how to print with white and metallic, which is a far more complicated system given the need to circulate the white the whole time and the machine doesn't have the hardware for it. The documents on the support page could also be there in error.

Perhaps a modified firmware version of the RF or XF model so it enables 8 color for the XF?

Well the info says it's possible so why not.

You can't find this online. I happen to have it...
I've gone through the service notes an no mention. Is this gonna cost me to get the solution from you, or do I need to dress up in something provocative and seduce the answer out of you LOL ! We're getting in another XF-640 and I'm seriously considering converting the one to a hexachrome edition, even if it is slower, so your future input, even at a charge, would be appreciated.

Its in the product introduction.

But what more do you need? Everything that is required is in that picture. It's all.

No(there is no ink circulation) and Versaworks doesn't support it.
thanks for your reply.
one more query.
Is there a possibility of changing the ink configuration of a vs 640 to eliminate the Lc Lm and change them to M and C while keeping the white and metallic?

Never go against the family
Just keep in mind when you start using them, pure orange is more prone to fading outdoors in the direct sun than other colors.

No, it's either double CMYK, or LC/LM W.
It would make no sense (speed wise) to have only two colors double. Except for white.

I remember reading that flexi 21 would allow building “custom ink sets” or some such phrasing.
it would open quite a can lf worms, even if true. No downloaded profiles as a starting point
we talked about trying this with a couple rebuilt “project machines” but never got up and running because of my wife’s medical issues

a white ink conversion would ptobably doom you to failure, in my opinion.
my 2 day to day machines (roland sc545-ex & mutoh vj1617h) are both white ink capable (one of roland’s first white ink attempts & mutohs design 14 years later)
even with the extra electronics and white circulation pumps it turned out to be easier to run a cartridge of cleaner in. The white channel.

i don’t see success in your future if you try adding circulation pumps etc to a machine NOT designed for all the problems white ink causes. Nothing eats printheads like white inks

My intention is to convert a vs640 to UV ink. It has a recirculation system ready. but it will surely be very slow printing. Besides, I can't find LM LC UV inks and metallic would be my gloss.
The attractive thing about the XF-640 is its double head that could do this much faster.
Is there a way to tell the rip to print a certain color only with one ink. example or pure ink?
