Rollers splitting on 1604

I had 1 or two about 6 months ago, but now a half dozen more... the soft rubber feed rollers are splitting.

Anyone have a pn# or source to replace these?? They just snap in.

Pretty Common... If you are like me you regularly clean these rollers with acohol... Alcohol dries rubber making it hard and brittle. With the hardened rubber coupled with the pressure forced on these rollers they will crack over a period of time. This is considered and expendable/consumable item. Your supplier will carry these and just like extra inks, flushing pads, cleaning solvent, etc. you should always have some extra on hand... JMO...

I just went to my local medical supply house and bought some tubing, cut to size and replaced, way cheaper and same exact stuff

what size tubing did you get....
That was a tip I got from "someone in the know" (use some tubing)... I just want to get the size/diameter right
